I am Lauren, and I was born and raised in Belgium (yet I haven’t lived there since I was 19). In my journey to America, I first took a small step over to London in 2021, and after that small step, I decided to take the bigger step by crossing the entire ocean and moving to NYC! Now that I’m here I can safely say I am in love with the city, and as such, I know I am going to be delighted to take long (or short!) walks with your fur baby 🙂

Growing up amongst crazy dog people, I always had at least 4-7 dogs around me at all times ever since I was a small child. From German Shepherds to Saint Bernards to Chihuahuas to Shiba Inus and more, I have taken care of and loved a variety of dogs — so you can be rest assured that I will know how to take care of your beloved pup, too!

Currently, I am living in the East Village with my partner and son (yes, I am talking about my one-year-old mini poodle, Tini! ;)). Tini is a crazy little guy who has grown up in the Lower East Side – he is also a hyperactive child with a penchant for picking up “street treats,” so Tini has made me well-versed in the signs to look out for if your dog is a street sweeper, too 😉

Forever and always preferring dogs over people, I know that I am about to embark on an amazing journey at RuffCity! That said, I cannot wait to meet and take care of your furry friends!
