Kevin – Uptown

My name is Kevin, and I’ve been living in NYC for almost 20 years now. I’ve also lived in Tokyo, Barcelona, Montana, and Los Angeles, as well as travelled on a shoestring to 60+ countries! I feel so very lucky to have made four legged friends in all four corners of the world. I’ve also worn many hats in my travels including: kindergarten teacher, environmental activist, organic farmer, artist, all the way to GM/ Maitre D’ of a world class restaurant!

Since the pandemic, I served as Resident Sound Healer for a Wellness and Meditation Center in NYC. Abundance, stillness, and luck there deepened my training with generous masters from Tibetan, Chinese, and Vedic philosophies/lineages. I muse instruments like bronze and crystal bowls, chimes, and mantras to help others reach inner stillness, believing in sound’s power to heal and foster connection with the divine.  I’ve gone freelance to foster my career as an artist and renew my work / life balance to a new path with paws on it 🙂

Dogs are my favorite animals and always have been. I grew up with several family dogs, and throughout the years I’ve been a dog walker and sitter to many friends and neighbors as a couch surfer and Funcle! I love surrounding myself with dogs on a daily basis, and I always seem to stop to say hello to pups on the street far too often. The joy and heart opening dogs bring into our lives is divine. The quality of unconditional love, the discipline and consistency, the joy of Dogs in our lives continues to inspire my study of healing and sharing peace with the world.

I understand the love you have for your pet and that it’s one of the most beautiful and special relationships in your life! I am excited to be of service on the long path to enlightenment with the responsibility, awareness, and calm I’ve built over the years.  I also just love being outside and getting exercise with four legged friends! Needless to say, I am so happy to be a part of the RuffCity Team and cannot wait to spend some quality time with your furriest family!
