My name is Isaac, and while I’ve been living in the city for a year and a half now, I’m originally from Meridian, Mississippi! While living in Mississippi, I was exposed to some of the best cooking in the country, whether it was soul food, BBQ, or Tex-Mex. I hope to continue my journey of leveling up my cooking skills under the tutelage of NYC’s great chefs and eventually, open my own restaurant that represents my past in my favorite dishes!

While growing up in Mississippi, I lived on a farm with a great number of animals. Among these many animals (cats, pigs, and cattle, to name a few!), I owned and cared for 7 dogs, all of which I loved like my own family members. I would groom, walk, bathe, and care for each as if they were my siblings — my bro-furs and sis-furs! 😉 Currently, I am the very proud dog-dad of a handsome boy named Ziggy, and you can see just how handsome he is in my photo below!

All of that being said, I am honored to be a part of the RuffCity family and have the opportunity to work with man’s best friend every day! I look forward to meeting you and your pups and making them a part of my extended fur-fam, too!
