Han – Uptown

I’m Han, and I was born in Korea and moved to Southern California when I was 9 years old. After high school, I moved to Germany for college, where I spent 8 years studying classical piano performance and earned my bachelor’s and master’s degrees. I’ve recently returned to the States and moved to NYC to continue preparing for further studies in music. Outside of dog walking, I spend a lot of my time in piano practice rooms, so it’s a joy to be able to get outside, stretch my legs, and spend time with pups throughout the day!

I’ve always had a deep love for animals—especially dogs. Friends, family, and even friends of friends know this about me, so whenever anyone needed a reliable sitter for a few days or even a few months, I was the person they’d call. Through that, I’ve had the chance to care for a wide range of dogs, each with different personalities and needs. I also have a dog of my own, a Bichon Frise and Maltese mix, who keeps me on my toes and constantly reminds me just how rewarding it is to connect with animals.

When I’m walking with your pup, I really focus on getting to know them—what they like, what makes them hesitate, and what pace they feel most comfortable with. I believe in being patient, attentive, and always prioritizing safety. Every dog is different, and I try my best to make sure they feel secure, engaged, and happy while we’re out and about 🙂
