Hi! I am George, and I am a relatively new resident in New York City, having moved just a few months ago from Boston! I was born and raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, an Amish hub with wide open fields, farmers markets, and plenty of dogs. After growing up there, I moved to Boston to study at Boston University, and later relocated to the Upper West Side when my girlfriend started law school at Fordham this fall.

Dogs have always been part of my life. My family usually had two yellow labs at a time, so there was never a moment when a dog wasn’t stretched out somewhere in the house! In high school I began helping neighbors with their dogs, taking them on walks and dog sitting, and it quickly became something I genuinely loved doing 🙂

Outside of work, I can typically be found reading in the park, visiting my local repertory movie theater, or desperately trying to befriend my neighborhood dogs. I am still new to the city, so I spend a lot of time wandering around and exploring new neighborhoods!

I know how much trust it takes to let someone else look after your dog, and I take that responsibility very seriously. Dogs bring so much joy into our homes, and being part of their routine is something I am so thankful for. Having said that, I am so very happy to be joining the RuffCity pack, and I cannot wait to take your pup on big-city adventures!
