My name is Edona, and I’m a lifelong Queens, NY resident. After spending two years traveling abroad, I returned to New York to complete my bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Studio Arts. Before that, I attended a performing arts high school, where I studied Fine Arts. Painting and photography have remained longtime creative passions of mine.

I’m also a proud pet parent! I’ve had my husky, Kimi, for 15 years, and I share my home with two cats, Ruffus and Nala. Kimi absolutely loves the snow and has a funny habit of trying to howl like a wolf after dark, which never fails to make me smile. She also has several neighborhood dog friends, and I love taking her to spend time with her pals.

In addition to caring for my own pets, I’ve provided freelance dog walking and pet sitting for friends and colleagues. I feel a strong connection with animals and pride myself on being compassionate, dependable, and attentive to their individual needs. Caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy, and I’m excited to be part of the RuffCity team while getting to know you and your dog(s)!
