Carolina – Downtown

My name is Carolina and I am native to this city, from the Bronx. I have always

loved animals, from hamsters to iguanas to turtles to snakes, it seemed like my

mom would let me have anything except a dog. I was thirteen when my family

finally got Denny, a black Lab mix. The experience changed my life. Dogs have

changed my life, in the coming years my family would adopt two more dogs,

having a total of three. It was hard not to feel like a member of a pack rather than

a family. I love being outside and as an artist who prefers staying in, it’s always a

dog that reminds me to see things from a different perspective.

I walk dogs around my neighborhood, and have had the pleasure to meet a

variety of breeds. One of my favorite things is recognizing a personality, and with

each dog I meet it continues to impress! I am excited to be a member of the RuffCity fam 🙂
