My name is Asheesh (Ash for short), and I moved to New York City from Southern California to pursue my passion for stand-up comedy. When I’m not performing or writing, I love spending time exploring the city, getting lost in neighborhoods that are new to me, and finding the best coffee spots to refuel between shows and walks!

I’ve been around dogs my entire life. I have two of my own — Tiger, a German Shepherd mix, and Cali, a Yellow Lab–Corgi–Husky mix — both of whom I’ve raised since they were puppies. Caring for them taught me everything from reading dog body language to managing high-energy pups with patience, structure, and a lot of love 🙂

Outside of my own dogs, I’ve spent years helping friends, family, and neighbors with walking, training basics, and general pet care. I’m comfortable with all sizes and personalities, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog’s quirks and routines. Having grown up with rescue dogs as well, I understand how important trust is — for both the dog and the owner.

To me, pets are family. I know how much your dog means to you, and I always aim to give them the same level of attention, safety, and affection that I give my own pups. I’m excited to be part of the RuffCity team and can’t wait to meet your furry friend!
