My name is Asheesh (Ash for short), and I recently moved to New York City from Southern California to pursue my passion for stand-up comedy. When I’m not performing or writing, I love spending time exploring the city, getting lost in new neighborhoods, and finding the best coffee spots to refuel between shows and walks!

I’ve been around dogs my entire life. I have two of my own — Tiger, a German Shepherd mix, and Cali, a Yellow Lab–Corgi–Husky mix — both of whom I’ve raised since they were puppies. Caring for them taught me everything from reading dog body language to managing high-energy pups with patience, structure, and a lot of love 🙂

Outside of my own dogs, I’ve spent years helping friends, family, and neighbors with walking, training basics, and general pet care. I’m comfortable with all sizes and personalities, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog’s quirks and routines. Having grown up with rescue dogs as well, I understand how important trust is — for both the dog and the owner.

To me, pets are family. I know how much your dog means to you, and I always aim to give them the same level of attention, safety, and affection that I give my own pups. I’m excited to be part of the RuffCity team and can’t wait to meet your furry friend!
