Adam – Downtown

My name is Adam and I am originally from Boston, but moved to the UWS of Manhattan with my wife in 2021! When I am not hanging out with dogs you may find me bird watching, hiking, Ggrilling, or at the movies.

My family got my first dog when I was 4, a Black Lab named Kiawah. I fell in love instantly and chose to sleep in the crate with her when she was a puppy. Once she outgrew her crate, she remembered what I had done and slept in my bed every night until she passed 12 years later. Once she passed, my family got a Yellow Lab named Mika. My wife and I got our first dog together when moving to NYC in 2021, a rescue Black Lab/Doberman mix named Sal who has become our best friend and the rock of our family! Throughout my life I have had lots of experience walking, house sitting and volunteering with dogs of all shapes and sizes including Shih Tzu’s, Wheaten Terriers (like the adorable Bruin in this photo), Labs, Golden Retrievers, Australian Shepherds, Great Danes and more.

I previously worked in the Financial Tech industry, but decided to leave that behind and pursue a career including my true passion which is animals. I pride myself in providing the love, respect and attention all dogs deserve. I can’t wait to bring that love toRuffCity and get to know you and your furry best friends!
