My name’s Silvia, and I grew up in the English countryside – a place called Devon! I lived in the UK nearly my entire life until I moved to NYC to be with my partner, who’s here doing a PhD. I’m hoping to do a PhD myself, eventually! I also love to be active: I climb, play soccer, and even do a little biking, too 🙂

I always grew up around dogs in Devon, and our family even helped with a couple of our dogs having litters of puppies. Having dogs around growing up was truly the most special thing; I miss them so much! I was also surrounded by farmland and, consequently, many dogs that weren’t my family’s. That said, I’m very comfortable spending time with dogs of all shapes and sizes 🙂

I also spent the last five years of my time in the UK living in London, where I looked after my uncle’s two Labrador/Whippet mixes. I then became a dog walker for a number of their neighbours and friends! Therefore, I am very familiar with the difficulties of walking dogs in a big city.

I think that animals (and especially dogs) are such a beautifully perceptive friend to have in a human’s life. I know how important your pet is to you, and it is really a special gift to be let into their lives! I am always open to any questions you have, and am so excited to be hanging out with your doggos.
