My name is Karina, and I come from a Peruvian and Japanese background. I grew up in Peru surrounded by animals, spending much of my life on a small family hacienda where being close to nature and caring for animals was simply part of everyday life. Because of that, my love for animals has always been a huge part of who I am!

Over the years, I’ve developed not only a deep affection for dogs, but also a strong sense of respect for them as living beings. To me, the most important part of caring for any animal is understanding that they each have their own personality, boundaries, and way of communicating. I believe in giving dogs patience, kindness, and space, while always paying attention to their comfort and consent.

Being around animals has taught me so much about connection, trust, and responsibility, and I truly love creating calm, safe, and positive experiences for them. I’m so excited to be part of the RuffCity team and look forward to meeting and caring for your wonderful pup!
