My name is Paige, and I’ve been taking care of animals and walking dogs professionally for over 10 years now! Caring for dogs has been a constant thread throughout my life, and it’s something I truly love and feel grounded by.

After spending 15 years in the Bay Area and then a year traveling throughout Europe, I moved to NYC just one month ago and am so excited to call this city my new home. Traveling has been a huge part of my life, and I’ve had the privilege of dog-sitting both across the U.S. and throughout Europe. No matter where I’ve been in the world, caring for animals has always helped me feel connected and at home.

I’m a dog lover through and through, with a soft spot for dogs of all kinds…small dogs, big dogs, senior dogs, and of course…puppies! I understand that every dog has their own personality, needs, and pace, and I always approach each walk or visit with attentiveness, patience, and genuine care.

When I’m not dog walking or sitting, I love writing songs + playing music, spending time in nature, reading a good fantasy book, sharing my thoughts on Substack, practicing yoga, or catching a vintage film at an independent movie theater 🙂 I bring that same presence and thoughtfulness from my creative life into the way I care for animals.

I know how special the bond is between people and their pets, and I treat every dog I care for as if they were my own. It likely goes without saying, but I am so happy to be part of the RuffCity community and I truly look forward to spending time with your furry companion!
