My name is Josh and I am so excited to spend time with your pups! I grew up in a small town in Virginia where my love of dogs started at home with my family and our furry crew of 6 canines.  My heart dog growing up was my Golden Retriever whose name was Max, and if I could wake up tomorrow morning as any animal, I would wake up as him 🙂  To live the life of a Golden Retriever for a day – what a dream!!

As a teenager, my first job was walking dogs for our friends and neighbors in my area, so I am familiar and comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Throughout my childhood, my best friends were two of my family’s dogs, the aforementioned Max, and my chocolate lab, Baxter.  We used to spend hours every day exploring around our house, and those are truly some of my favorite memories from childhood.  I also taught both of them how to play frisbee, which led me to actively being in ultimate frisbee leagues- simply from my love of my dogs and our time together!

From my love and obsession with my own dogs, I truly understand what a gift it is to be able to spend time with dogs professionally.  I am so excited to be a part of the RuffCity team and I am so excited to meet your pup and spend some time together!
