Salutations! My name is Woodson Legrand and I’m an Independent Art Curator/Friendly Neighborhood Dog Walker hailing from Brooklyn, New York by way of Saint Marc, Haiti. I’ve lived in New York essentially my entire life after 5 years of age, but it wasn’t until I reached the proverbial “teen angst” stage where I began to understand and realize my instinctual love for dogs and animals a like. It wasn’t until my adulthood that I decided to do something about it.

It all started while interning for my mentor who is an artist and works out of a studio on the bowery. I often was left in charge of his best friend and pet pug, Flip. There, I believe Flip afforded me safe passage and ushered me into the wonderful world of four legged dwellers, and since then — it’s been magical. I began freelance dog walking, and did that for 2 1/2 years until I found myself here, as a member of RuffCity, ready and enthused to meet you and yours 🙂
